  • Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is one of the attractions that you have to visit while you’re in Singapore. It was so much fun to visit the gardens and to see these famous places with your own eyes. We got to visit both the Flower Dome and the famous Cloud Forest, which was the highlight of this experience.

One can simply not travel to Singapore without visiting Gardens by the Bay. Alex and I did this trip together with KKday, and down below you can read more about my experience and what to expect from this experience!

What to expect

Inside the impressive gardens of Singapore, you’ll find the tallest waterfall and the biggest glass greenhouse in the world.

Wander around in the Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome and admire fauna and flora from all over the world. Beautiful flowers, and impressive waterfall and lush gardens – that’s something you have to look forward to. After visiting the famous glass greenhouses, you can wander around among the famous vertical gardens. For an extra fee, you can walk 22 meters above the ground in the OCBC Skyway and admire the view of the whole Gardens by the Bay Area.

If you’re visiting the Vertical Gardens after sunset, you can prepare to be amazed by the beautiful light show. Bring some food and drinks, sit on the lawn, and enjoy the show!

Summary of my experience of Gardens by the Bay:

This was actually my second time at the Gardens by the Bay, but my first time to visit the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. Last time we didn’t bother to go there, but I’m glad that we did this time. The Flower Dome was a beautiful place to stroll around it but didn’t impress me that much since I’m not into flowers that much and the whole flower photography thing. But the Cloud Forest, on the other hand, was so cool with its waterfall and tropical plants.

Overall I’m glad that I visited both since it’s something you have to do while you’re in Singapore. Even though I wasn’t that impressed with the Flower Dome, I still enjoyed strolling around there for a while.

If you ever decide to go to Gardens by the Bay (which you should) then you must visit the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest!
